| I went to the shop to get my pulley installed today and had some annoying issues with the installation. No show stoppers, but just more annoyances with this whole GB. I wish I had brought my camera to the shop, but I thought it was going to be a straight forward bolt-on installation and thus no need for a camera. First off, as I already knew, the timing mark was not there so I used my UR pulley to put the mark on the new pulley. No biggie here, but I should not have had to do this myself as the timing mark should have come on the pulley from Fisher. When we pull off the UR pulley, it slides right off. Well, I wish the Fisher would slide right on. It would not. We had to do some clean up of the bore in order to make it fit. We got to the point where we could not push it on further and it was too tight to pull off. At this point, we just got a mallet and softly tapped it on. So now we are ready to put the stock bolt and washer on to secure the pulley to the crank, but the washer does not fit. This is a very thick washer and not some off the shelf type of item that you are going to find at the hardware store. The specific problem is that the OD of the washer is too large to fit in the counterbore of the pulley. Luckily my friend was able to find another thick washer in his shop and bore out the ID of the washer to fit over the bolt. Again, no actual show stoppers, but just damm aggrevating. I feel for you guys whose credit cards have already been debited, but who have not received your pullies yet. Has anyone else had similiar experiences when installing their pulley? Glenn
